As the successful candidate for this role you will:
Provide support to clients and their families to achieve optimum levels of independence through the development and delivery of high quality Day Programs.
Plan, implement and deliver group based activities, suitable to the needs of clients.
Ensure the efficient and costumer-focused day-to-day running of the Day Program.
It is essential you have leadership experience, certificate 3 in Community Services Aged Care Work, or equivalent, specialising in Recreational Activities. A current Level 2 First Aid Certificate and Drivers Licence are required.

This position within the Barwon Health Carer Respite & Carelink Services works closely with the youth services network including local Schools within the region to identify and support young carers to allow them to remain at school.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate relevant experience in case management, aged, disability and or mental health sectors, and be flexible and innovative in developing individual respite options for young carers and the person they care for.
